The software

Provisa is licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 — free to evaluate with no time limit, and free in production for organizations under 100 people and under $1,000,000 revenue; larger organizations need a commercial license for production use. The license terms shipped with the software govern your right to use, modify, and redistribute it; these Terms of Service govern your use of this website and any hosted services offered from it.

Preview status

Provisa is in preview. Features, APIs, and the on-disk/wire formats may change without notice before general availability. The software and this site are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Your data

If you run Provisa against your own data sources, that data stays in your own infrastructure and is never transmitted to us. See the Privacy Policy for what limited account data (sign-in identity, mailing-list entries) we do collect.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site or software to violate any applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data that aren't yours.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of provisa.dev or the mailing-list service.
• Use automated means to scrape or bulk-harvest content from this site outside normal, reasonable use.

Accounts

If you sign in to a Provisa-hosted service using Google, GitHub, or Microsoft, you're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials with that provider secure. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Provisa and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the site or software.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product moves from preview to general availability. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
